Assistant Chief Butch Diekemper was elected as the Northeast Director by the membership in 2020. Prior to serving as the Northeast Director, he served on the By-laws committee and is still on the by-laws committee for the association. Chief Diekemper has nearly 36 years of fire service experience and currently serves as the Assistant Fire Chief of Fire Prevention for the City of Lenexa Fire Department.
